Member: 4690 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Most (actually all) flasher software is designed for 9x class os's (i.e. win95, win98, winMe) but using the UserPort solution by lead (get it at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cellularbase/files ) you can use dejan flasher (or any other software using that method) pretty effectvely!
I still prefer to use Win9x for flashing tho as I'm constantly testing new software and can't be bothered messin about with userport
Personally, I use WinMe (would be win98 but drivers for some of my laptops devices are only available in winMe ) B.r |

Member: 4690 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Lol! No problem - but I can't stress enough that you MUST MAKE FULL BACKUPS BEFORE EVERY OPERATION, at least until your very confortable with flashing..
I must have killed about 4 test phones in the past few months I've been into flashing - luckily i've saved every one with a full backup flash from each! Good luck, hope you pick it up easy!
Check out www.cellularbase.co.uk for a basic tutorial to partial flashing to unlock - any questions feel free to email me!
