Phone Not Charging - GSM-Forum

I have just got hold of a 3210 as I drove over my old one. When I plug the charger in it gives me the message 'Not Charging'.

Can someone give me an idea of why??

Try to change the battery, if don't work change the fuse down the logic board or cchek that condensator near the pin battery is Ok. If you want i send you the service manual---mail me.

HI,
3210 , for not chagring!
you can try ti solder that battery connect "GND" pin, beside that pin, you can look R127, resolder it too!

others change changer IC!

The battery and charger are working OK, I have tried them on another phone

hi, if the phone is still not working take it to a nokia exchamghe centre. with yuo recipt and if the cant repair it they will give u a new 1

1)First try to change the batterie
2)Look after the adapter if it is ok!
3)If u have the same problem, check the condensator...maybe it will work, but u may still have the same problem.....

Check your battery si working in another phone if not go for new one or visit nokia care.

Most of the time this issue occur due to battery problem.
