POWER PROBLEMS - GSM-Forum

Hey all!

I have a problem with a 3210 v5.31. The phone works fine apart from it won’t switch on unless it is plugged into a charger. I have tried changing the charger/charger module/battery to no avail.
This seems to be a very odd problem and the phone has never been flashed, it was unlocked by joining pins 6+7 on the EPROM.
Can anyone out there suggest a solution to this problem?

Ps the phone is not under warranty so can’t go to a service centre

this is 100% hardware problem....

you nned the right equipment to test it. so, might as well bring it to a nokia service service center even though its a non-warrantied unit.

they'll still fix that with a min. charge.
