use nkprofile running under win98 or winME. if you run it under winxp or win2K, you cannot move the slider correctly.

I'll try but first in three weeks (I don't have now this phone). Maybe this is problem because I have used nkprofile under W2k. Thank You!

use eeprom tools press the 3rd button from the left to fix the eeprom. then do a full factory restore.

I had the same problem with a 3210, i did a full flash then did the above after updating the faid.

let ne know how you get on.

Hi,
I had a lot of problems using Nokia profile as well but when you first run logomanager and then run NKprofile it works fine, i think that's the trick
Best regards

Nokia Profile Utility works good for LCD contrast adjustments. Every time you adjust it make phone restart.

If it does not work, you should reflash good eeprom.

Hi,

I encountered exactly the same problem with a 5.01 full flash (PPM H I believe) I downloaded from somewhere in the net. The problem is that the contrast value in the EEPROM part is incorrect.

It can definitively be fixed using Nokia Profile 1.17 running under Win 9x (I tested 95, 98). Nokia Profile is an addendum to Logo Manager and uses interface settings etc. from this program, so first of all install and configure Logo Manager properly.
