Problems with DKU-5 Cable


HELP... HELP... HELP...
I have tryed and tryed and tryed.....

The f...... Cables driver wont work.....

I install it... then plugged the cable to the Usb port, Windows finds the cable but when it should installe the driver for the cable it just says... "Unknown unit" and windows just installs something ells.. Nothing i can use....

Can anybody tell me what the hell i do with this cable and its driver??? I have had enough of this...

I got the cable for 600 dkr., about 80 euros...... And it dosn't work.. That *****....

Im running windows 98 SE.

Please anybody help me?

You first need to plug the cable in. Windows will then say that a new USB device has been detected, and will start the Add Hardware Wizard. Navigate to where the driver file for the cable is, and then click okay.

install driver from cdrom 1ST!!!!!


then reboot ... connect cable .. and let win98 find and install
support .....

Yeah, it could work. However, that way didn't work 4 me. I had to use the method that i described above.

The reason is that when the USb device is plugged in, Win98 will automatically recognise it, and ask you to find the driver. If you install the driver first, it can cause problems in recognising the device.
