Problems with a flash for Nokia 3210...Please read...! :-)

Is there someone who can help me?
I have a Nokia 3210 V05.36 and it crashed with partial because it stopped at "erasing Flash".
Now i updated by a Nokia Center to V06.00 but i try to make a backup of full flash but it doesn't work, becasue reading process stops at 201000...! so after some minutes!
Have you some ideas?
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
What schematics of dejan flasher do you have?
In some 3210 the resistence of 100ohm that connects the pin 16 of the IC to the VPP pin on the phone is too low so if you change it to a resistance at least 470ohm will solve your problem, it worked with me!But you will have to know what kind of flash you have inside the phone because if it isn't Intel you will not be able to read it, but you will write in any flash with the correct f_loader/boot.
Or you can discard the two diodes that are feeding the IC with a 5V voltage regulator connected to a 9v battery!
If you have problems doing that email me so i will send you a schematic that i made that works with battery and without battery!

Good luck,
William

Thanks a lot for your suggest..!
My flasher has been bought already made, and i'd open it to verify what you say.
If i modify it, the modified flasher will work on toher phones? ...because it's the first time (on Nokia Flasher) which i'm not able to unlock a phone.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
It's the first time that this happens to you because Nokia 3210 is the only model of Nokia phones that needs the VPP pin connected to the interface, this does not hapen with all 3210, but that i don't know why!
And yes the the modified flasher will work fine with other phones!

Bye,
William
