re-unlock nokia 3310 - GSM-Forum

a nokia tool has locked my the GID 1 lock. now the 3310 doesn't accept any sim card and i can't unlock it again.
pls help me. i'm a newbie on this section, i've no idea what i can do.

Why can't you unlock it again???

I know for sure that it is possible to unlock it again.

i've tried it, but i get the error message: unable to open sim lock 2!
can i open the locks if i flash my handy?

You must flash it otherwise you can unlock a Nokia 3310.

flash your phone with dejan flasher or jethro.
check your software version.
this is 100 % working.

partial flash only..

Just my humble opinion.

Download Dark Lemmings Flasher prog.(easy to install and use)

Buy or build Flasher circuit.

When you have these things then we can continue to help you..

I have the Software, and a cable. But Where can i find the shematics for a flasher?

nokiatool is for use with the old version nokia's. DEFINATLY NOT WITH ANYTHING ABOVE 3210.
if the phone gets an unlock command from nokia tool the new models will lock the lock concered if it was open or closed.

as for the 3310 the only cheap way is to flash.
this is different from a data cable but 100%
options are..
buy cables...software is free.
of you are only unlocking one or a couple of phones it will be cheaper to go to the option of getting somone else to unlock it for you.
