New solution 3310 to 3315 100%
I have put in my web a new solution for 3310 to 3315.
The old solution cause problems with the phone.
the format of eeprom is a bit different.

New solution working 100%

1) Flash 3310 with any 5.47 MCU+PPM flash (you may use any flasher program)
2) Start KNok-Phoenix build 1 go to PHONE SETTINGS and hit QUICK FAID
3) Push button 3310 to 3315
4) Go to PHONE SETTINGS and click on QUICK SET FAID
5) Go to MODIFY LOKS and click on Reset SP- LOCK
6) Go to PHONE SETTINGS and click on RESET USER INTERFACE SETTINGS
There you go. Your 3310 is now a 3315

Hi Schwantz,

I have a problem upgrading my 3310 to 3315 after a succesful upgrade I notice that the personal ringtone selection will not play all the tones when i received new sms. but just testing it or selecting the personal ringtone for the message alert tone it will paly all the notes. Any solution for this?

Personal ringing tone for sms will not play the whole ringtone.. only a part of it. That way you can distinguish an incoming sms from an incoming call.

Tried what u say but i get the following message:

MBUS_SecurityCommand : cannot execute 'Set FAID'

Any suggestions?

Cancell that! I restarted my PC, started all over and its worked. Thanx for the info schwantz much appreciated mate. RESPECT 2 Ya.....

Q: I have a 3310 with no on/off button does anyone know how i can switch it on?

i think u can open the cover and try to play
with the button with a sharp thing to trun it ON

solder a switch to it, make sure it a push to make contact type....as i am not very sure what would happen if it was always on !!!

regarding using knok to upgrade 3310 to 3315, does knok work with auto-switching mbus/fbus cable? thx.
