SOME INFO ON DEJAN HEX - GSM-Forum

i hope this helps all. i2c routines in dejan hex for those who want to convert hex for other pic microcontrollers such such as 16f628 or whatever.

017f-0185 = i2c delay long (longer than short) 0186-018b = i2c delay short (shorter than long) 018c-01a8 = i2c start 0195-019e = i2c bit out 019f-01a8 = i2c read bit 01a9-01b0 = i2c send 8 bits 01b1-01b7 = i2c read byte 01b8-01cd = i2c random read main subroutine 01ce-01d3 = i2c stop bit 01d4-01e9 = i2c write byte main subroutine

the more i understand the more i will post would anybody like to verify this with me ?????? enjoy all you hackers,reverse_engineers,programmers etc etc ... and all you lot who dont know s**t

hi iwan

i have picstart plus programmer with old firmware i cant program 16ce25 at the moment.

 thats why i am converting code to 16f628. then i will use jdm programmer to program 16f628

Hi, I decompiled the dejan hex in the hopes that the proper subs will be more apparent, Here it is: <a href="http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cellularbase/files/decomp.asm" target="_blank">http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cellularbase/files/decomp.asm</a>

Same as other decompiles but it's been split into subs and stuff, also it was decompiled using a program made specifically for PICs so it might be a little clearer!

go to Microchip.com and get new firmware and MPLAB , no problem

hi crew i have new firmware but there is a slight problem with upgrading. i need to program new pic 17c44, but i dont have a spare one yet. i hope to be getting all my pics tommorrow.

For all PICStart users! Better buy PIC 17F44-25, because there is Microchip firmware for upgrading programmers, using FLASH PICs. Assen

Hi Is 17c44 on dejan working?? I can programm 17c44 with Galep-4 its a high quality programmer and low cost 30€
