Stolen or Barred Phones! - GSM-Forum

I have two phones which I believed to be barred, they would not call out on the one2one service.<br />I had tried many times before.

I tried again in the past few days, and now they are both dialing out.

Could this be that the one2one has unbarred all stolen phones so that now they can be tracked and monitered which is what they intended. Please confirm this so that all ppl should know!

Most probably... Orange do it as well... You go to log on to the net work and they check you IMEI against their list of stolen/lost IMEI's... if there is a match then you are denied access to the network...

However you will probably find that if you unlock the phones you will get them to work fine on other networks...

However you will not get them to work on 1-2-1 again...

But thats exactly it, they are now working again on one2one! They definetely did not before.

Try this out.

Get a phone that was barred on 121, then dial a number. For the first few attempts it might not go through, but then it will dial and go through.
