SUCCESS in Repairing 3310 Contact Service (Double-blink) using NFREE by ViperBJK - GSM-Forum

After reading 3310 tru Dejan's flasher, repair the flash.out (002-004) and correct all possible MCU & PPM error in "Changes" then save the file with .fls extension and write it again to the CS 3310 unit (2x blink-Insert Sim - Contact Service only)...

Works 100% (on 7 units and still counting) to the unit that can't be repaired by 002-003 backup flashing...

Note: Pls check your correct f_loader or else CS unit is still CS but not anymore 2x-Blink...

what version of nfree are you using???, its not working with me.. i still get contact service....even with different f_loader.

NFREE v1.2 works & ok...

I have NFRRE v1.2 Prototype and if I made some "changes" and then I save them.No changes were saved.

What version you have?

There's a better and easier way to do it without using that soft (with all due respect). just the great flasher and a back-up (from a good working phone, same mcu and ppm). Just read 3D-40 from the problematic fone and save it as an .fls and keep in good place. now write the .fls from the working phone and then write the .fls from 3D-40 address to of course 3D starting address. Fixes double blink-then-CS 3310 units almost all the times. Done it several-several times here up to 3310 v4.23 package F unit.

u might need these: Boot.bin
F_loader.bin

BUT THE QUESTION IS: HOW ABOUT IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT GOOD UNIT (SAME VERSION, SAME MADE, SAME MCU, PPM. ETC)... WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Developers ... have a look at knok group files :0)

Maybe in a few weeks a new version comes ....
maybe it can change ppm .... maybe a flasher is included for win2k ... just have to wait awhile :0)
