5210 is DCT3, so yes nk clac and similar will unlock it, as will partials (two partial unlock)

Hi people,

Luckily I did not try to "destroy" my 5210-locked phone with nk_calc. Yes, it is DCT-3 Mobile Phones but it has different flash algorithm.
Even flash area was quite different... start was 002B with same
64kb and end was 002C (according to G-man but not tested)
Pls don't try it. Its too risky, unless you're sure that you're
doing the right thing.

I've done unlocking it using Neelix (just like Blutac said).

Regards to wazl for considering me to be a moderator of this

Well, you dont need a special tools or neelix or something to flash, upgrade or unlock a 5210

I only need a good old dejan flasher 1.00b or a Dejan105 to do it

but you need to modify something first

you know what I mean

Tested 100% on dead 5210 due to wrong flashing.

But dont forget to backup your phone first before you do something, just use darkflasher shell to read out the MCU, PPM & EEPROM using I28F160 f_loader

And regarding unlocking 5210, just use nk_calc or similar tools, my friend tested it already.

Different Flash Algorithm???

Actually not...

Only different Flash Chip (C4) which is not supported by default
on Dark Flashers and some WinDLS versions (Even if you select it
from Flash ID list). So you have to do a little modification like
what Speed said so that your Flash software will correctly Flash
the phone (modify Flash ID...).

Also it is possible for partial unlocking

But who needs partials
when you have nk_calc??? Many people tried to warn me that
using nk_calc will kill the phone (result to no power)... But how
come I unlocked a few 5210s from my friends and they all have
good signal until today

DCT3 is DCT3... Nokya might have changed their security in the
recent phone versions, but the "Flash Algorithm" is the same
for all DCT3. Well, yes... Nokya did change the "Flash Algorithm",
and now it is DCT4. Although I heard that they will also be
changing IMEI and SP-Lock Algorithms in DCT3, but it does not
mean that we can't flash it anymore or downgrade it to a lower
version.

Please keep in mind that when I say that Nokya did not change
"Flash Algorithm" in DCT3, I mean that you can flash any DCT3
phone regardless of what version it is. Regarding SP-Lock and
IMEI-Change, Nokya will surely do something about this, but it
is not the Flash Algorithm that they will change, but the security
algorithm. As of now, all DCT3 are safe to unlock (not yet
confirmed on 8855)... but be carefull when newer firmware
versions come! Always make an EEPROM backup or Full Flash
backup, because you can always do on OLD and NEW DCT3

And also if there is any f_loader for this tottaly new chip (C4)?

of cos it is safe to unlock with Rolis NokTool, Dejan Nk_Calc, and B-Phreaks Eeprom Tool.....
