Unlock With Windows Me/Xp - Who Can Confirm? - GSM-Forum

Hi! I am running Windows 98 right now, but i might upgrade it to ME or XP. I have both ready to load on to my comp, i just want to find out, will all the programs work still for unlocking Nokias? Like Dejan Flasher, NU2000, Dark Flasher Shell ect...? I tryed with Win 2000 and it did not load any programs <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> Thanks! <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

with windows me the programs will work fine i use windows me and have no problems

Most programs that access the "direct device access" wont work on Windows 2000 and NT. They'll encounter "Priveleged instruction" error.

Windows ME (and I heard XP) is like an upgrade of Windows 98, much like the upgrade to Win3.1 to Windows 95. Most programs that run in Windows 98, runs on Windows ME. I don't know if "low level access" programs like NU2000 or the Dejan Flasher should run on it. Although some claimed that the full Windows-based FlashBox runs on Windows ME, which is also a "low level access" program that directly calls the printer port.

I had windows xp installed on my system but none of the unlocking software like nu2000 would work!! I had to uninstall it and i am now using windows 98

nu2000 1.11, jethro, dejan 1.00, nkfree works fine using windowsME on pentium3 667mhz, but none of the software works on my athlon even using windows98.. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

yes i confirm all programms work fine with win Me, but with xp. there is noc hance, dejan doesn't work and nu the same
