Member: 871 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 602 | Hello guys, Yup the solution works! But not 100% Some phones will loose network after a few hours I tested it too, then my unit lost signal every so often then will have signal again! Very wierd ???? Then after a few hours it cannot get signal almost! SO I locked it again using WinLock, but I think the problem was not resolved. Test first on one unit and observe it for a few days. Maybe my unit is defective. Best Regards, X-Shadow |

Member: 871 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 602 | Ok Sebastijan, I am not saying that your solution is fake, I say it works in unlocking, but for me 1 unit (first one I tried) got working very wierd I go outside of my house to get signal, I get full 4 bars... But when I try to make a phone call, phone will loose all 4 bars and restart. Only 1 unit I try, not 200 ok, but sorry, it not work for me I also noticed that my EEPROM is not Atmel, it is something like CSI or CSU or something, I not sure. What I say is true, and what you say may be true too. No problem ok... Best Regards, X-Shadow |

Member: 788 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | It is not a problem with eepron, I think your telefon was damaged before you unlocked it.I have tested on more than 200 pcs and I didn t have any problem. You need to test with more phones not only one pcs so than you can write if it works ok. And allso people on forum sead that works ok. Regards Sebastijan |

Member: 1585 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 15 | hi! i would like to ask, whats the correct method in connecting SCL & Test, do you have to desolder the 4 pins(5,6,7,8) of the eeprom? or dont desolder it just short the 6&7 pins? pls help.. i tried to desolder the 4 pins and read/save so that i have a backup just in case, then i read phone with nokiatool and short 6&7 then read and unlock and so on..then power off...then when i tried to power it on "CONTACT SERVICE" appears. i solder the eeprom back and my phone booted normaly. whew!! but its still unlocked! during this method i read the phone, it shows abnormal imei, sec.code, and all 4 locks closed!! pls help.. thanks... |

Then proceed the unlocking method described in the zip file. (or solder 1 wire only to SCL of eeprom and put it to GND,f.e the batteries GND [This message has been edited by Probe1 (edited 04 July 2000).] |

Member: 1406 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Let me say my idea. When the phone lost its rx signal then may be the unlocking trick may change the phone values of suignalling. Its possible to set factory values by wintesla or pclocals. Let me know if it working. |

Member: 69 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | if you a factory reset it will bring back the original settings on rx and tx thats true, but if the massage in the eeprom is damaged the factory reset will nothing do for this! the easy way is to check the rssi reading with a spectrum analyser or frequenzer and tune the tx power and the tx/iq . if this will ok the problem is in the DSP ( MAD ) or the ccont will not bring the right voltage value for MAD. also it could be the VCTXCO or VCO but this is to see with the right equipment. by the way check also with wintesla if the imei is still ok and also the warrenty settings! best regards |
