Unlocking under XP - GSM-Forum

Hi guys,

I need some help unlocking a 3330 under XP
Under 98 I unlocked a lot of nokia's, but I don't seem to get a tool that works under XP.

Could sombody give me a name or a link?

Use prodigy tools, I'm useing dual operating systems on my
computer, with a prodigy box connected to it and it works
on bothe OS's for dct-3 and dct-4 generations.

Is there maybe a free tool that works under XP? It's only for unlocking dct-3 phones.

most of the progs that shouldn't work under xp do,

go to the .exe file (e.g. Nokia Tool v3.25.exe) right click and goto properties, then the compatability tab, then make sure the box is ticked where it says "Run this program in compatability mode for" then select windows98 from the dropdown menu, click on apply and there you have it, so simple i was kicking myself when i realised you could do that.

in XP i think you need to install userport to use your unlocker search the web

with userport Nokia tool by rolis works in win2k and XP
and is probably the best tool for unlock for dct3
no one needs 'big gun to kill mosquito' (to quote someone from this forum)

Most unlock software works under win XP
Here is how, Locate the software you want to use ,Right click on it , Go to compatibility,select Run under WIN98 now the software should work. But you can unlock you cannot have good flashing under XP
