updating nokia software version - GSM-Forum

can anybody please tell me if there is any problem if i want to update the software version of nokia phones like 5110, 6210, 8210, 8850.
if anybody can tell if its dangerous to update the nokia software version by dejan flasher???
i will appreciate all your help.

Hi,
Don't try to do it because you can damage your phone.

if no tell me.
i know a man who can do it but he never told me how and he take 20$ us to update the version.
so if i tried to updated and my phone was damaged if i reflash with his original flash file does the phone still damage?

Hi,
It's possible but to the moment only with eqiupment able to recalculate some eeprom values after flashing. In most ways that's
WinTesla with all the hardware, but if you read egroups you know that Dejan selling something like that. Just mail him.
