Any one can tell me how to upgrade the s/w in 2100?? and what equipment and software needed?? TQ

you can use many type of sw to upgrade nokia 2100, like Windls, Knock etc...

what basic tools i need?? like data cable etc... MBUS? FBUS?

First u need some experience.....

DCT3 Flasher cable... (flasher cable for 8210,3610,etc also works)
Rolis, Knock. flasher s/w
2100 flash file.
MBUS cable. ... (MBUS cable for 8210,3610,etc also works)
Nokia Tool by rolis or Jordik

and A COMPUTER WITH LPT PORT AND COMM PORT.
