Upgrade an 8810 - is it possible? - GSM-Forum

Hi there;

I have one 8810, with old software - 4.08. I have read over the internet that newer version have better reception; in fact currently reception is really poor outside cities.

So I wonder whether it is possible to upgrade the software via dejan flasher? anybody tried it, with 8810 or similar 5110, 6110?<br />Any comment is appreciated!

you at nokia center....

i doubt it tht after upgarding the firmware, your signal reception will go stronger.

if you want it to grow stronger, change the chrome casing to an ordinary casing and the signal will boost a little bit

Well, I'm ready to try If it is possible to do it with dejan flasher...<br />But dunno whether it will work

you cannot upgrade your phone mcu with dejan flasher. unless if you have box.
