Member: 2100 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 40 | Upgrading/Downgrading Telfort phones 1 6210 was version 527 upgraded too version 544. It was locked again to telfort lock 1&2. So I Logged it and AFTER logging unlocked it with the new 544 partial. Now I check with new nokia tool and there is 4 lockes closed eeeee fffff. I resetted the whole thing and still eee fff. After trying with a card it works 100% with new version etc. But still everything eee fff, but working!??
Now the 3310 was telfort version 4.35 finding not so good network.I needed to unlock it and the customer asked for a upgrade. So shall it be. I upgraded to 4.45 logged and unlocked Now cheking phone and I see simcard not accepted?
I read it with new nokia tool and see 4 lockes closed and eeee ffff in the locks. After playing with the phone I got it working, by using a telfort 4.45 partial. Now unlocked and ok! The thing I cannot understand is:After uploading new MCU+PPM the phone still doensnt work with normal partial How is this possible? If I flash new software the phone should not act like telfort phone right?
GsMen |

Member: 4168 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | @ GsMen:
The you will need telfort partial because the locks are in the eprom area not in mcu or ppm so if you upgrade a telfort 3310 you will need a telfort partial for the new version to unlock it. |

Or is that easier said than done. |
