Win Flasher

I would like to make a Win Flasher, look like Dejan Flasher, but Saver!<br />But I need a source how I can conect phone with LPT (Flasher).<br />Have anyone a code, than send me and I give the sw free into Net, if it's finish.

Hi<br />He means "safer", I suppose.<br />I think that Dejans flasher is the safest program for Nokia flashing. Also it uses Win DPMI, so it cannot work in real DOS mode.

@ Cyberdog<br />As the phone is 3.3 V technology, and the LPT is 5 V, you need some kind of buffers, 74HC series do great job (HC04, HC14, HC240). Well it is good to use Schimtt trigger.<br />The LPT is configured from the BIOS. You have three modes: EPP, ECP, SPP.<br />All they are different, but all have 8 bit data port, and 5 bit control port.<br />Conect your mobile to couple of pins, and simulate clock on the pin for MBUS - set, clear, set, clear,...... and so on. This will give you the clock signal. Same you do with the Tx (Fbus TX), but there you transmit 0 and 1 depends on the data to be transmited.<br />If you have A7 (a byte to be transmited) this means that you have to transmite 10100111, but also you have to transmite the LSB first.<br />With Rx it is a bit diferent. There you read BITs and concatenate theme till you receive a byte. The phone sends MSB first. So you have to reverce to get the real byte.<br />Best regards<br />Daniel
