Instructions of using WinDLS

Configuration:
1- WinDLS configuration
2- LPT1 port (printer) configuration
3- Language packages configuration
4- WinDLS.exe program configuration

1- WinDLS configuration
It is very easy:
* Connect the adapter cable box-P.C. to the LPT1 port
Connect the external supply 6-9Volts CC, established to the box (them the led at
footer will switch on)
2- LPT1 port (printer) configuration
The first step for configure the Nokia WinDLS is verify the LPT1, it is the master
for the data transmission to the box.
*Enter into the BIOS, them click at SUPR button, F2, F12 or the specified by your
P.C. when you star the computer
* Inside of BIOS enter in submenu Integrated Peripherals
* Select Bi-directional mode, Standard or EPP+ECP for additional ways
* Exit to the BIOS saving changes

3- Configuration of the flash packages
Flash packages are divided in two:
1- MCU: Version packages
2- PPM: Language packages

We must use the files with .exe extension that contains the model of phone. Example:
For Nokia 3310 = Nhm5.exe
Make double click on Nhm5.exe the P.C. Hill screen MCU and PPM updated by Official Nokia Trademark installing automatically in the directory c:\wintesla\name of model Nokia , this is the subdirectory where must me inserted the flashes for a right use of flashes. Them, when you execute the package Nhm5.exe the files will uncompress in c:\wintesla\nhm-5 the flashes:

NHM5NX05.110 --- MCU
NHM5NX05.11A --- PPM
NHM5NX05.11B --- PPM
NHM5NX05.11C --- PPM
ETC…

These flashes Hill help us to recover mobile phones in CONTACT SERVICE mode, wrong flashed, no switch on, cover problems, displays with rare symbols, language changing and software version updates.

4- Configuration of program WinDLS.exe
To configure the WinDLS we must execute and Hill appear the Interface program.

Working:
1- Obtaining phone information
2- Unlock new versions (updated to the last versions of each model)
3- Unlock old versions
4- Read/reset security codes in Nokia 6210 and 7110
5- Adjust of display contrast
6- Adjusting factory settings
7- Repair phones in CONTACT SERVICE mode, wrong flashed, no switch on, lose
of cover signal
8- Updating the version / updating languages
9- Resetting security codes in DCT4 models

1- Obtaining phone information
* Connect the right cable box-phone
* The phone must switch on automatically because WinDLS auto-supply to phone
(extra function to over the possibility of pause the flashing)
* Make click on Get info button
* Hill appear the model, version and language package. MSID and IMEI also, them
we can know witch one model is exactly connected to the box.

2- Unlock new versions (updated to the last versions of each model)
* When you read the phone you can see the version to know if it is old or new
* New versions must be unlocked clicking on SP unlock (20 seconds per phone)


3- Unlock old versions

Old versions:
Nk3210: Before to 5.28 this included
Nk3310: No (all are news)
Nk5110: Before to 5.28 this included
Nk6110: All versions
Nk6150: All versions
Nk6210: No (all are news)
Nk6250: No (all are news)
Nk7110: No (all are news)
Nk8210: Before to 5.11 this included
Nk8850: Before to 5.11 this included
Nk8890: No (all are news)

* WARNING: NO flash an old version to update for a new one. The phone can be partially damaged because DCT1 (old versions) and DCT3 (new versions) are not 100% compatibles.

4- Read/reset security codes in Nokia 6210 and 7110
* Connect the cable of Nk 5xxx,6xxx,7xxx box-phone
* Make click on Get info
* Make click on Read code down of route 6210 & 7110 security code
* Make click on Reset code to reset the security code and disable it

5- Adjust the contrast on display
* Connect the right cable box-phone
* Make click on get to “get” info about contrast level of phone connected
* Cose the right tune to make more/less intensity of contrast
* Make click on Set to upload the value choosed

6- Updating factory settings
* Connect the right cable box-phone
* Make click on Set Factory Settings, this option makes next functions:
1. Restart the operator locks (locks the phone to the initial values)
2. Restart the security code to 12345
3. Restart the factory setting values (originals)


7- Repair phones in CONTACT SERVICE mode, wrong flashed, no switch on, lose
of cover
* Connect the right cable box-phone
* Make click on Forced Download (Hill appear a message showing that we can
damage the phone by choosing a no right MCU and PPM packages)
* Make click on the MCU and PPM that you cose (depends of language that you
want to upload) IMPORTANT: Must be the same version. Example:
Nokia 8210 NSM-3; MCU- 5.290 PPM- 5.29ª
* Make click on OK and wait for 110 seconds and box Hill repair 100% the phone%


8- Updating the version to phone/inserting languages
* This step is like the past one, connect right cable box-phone
* Make click on Upgrade/Downgrade
* Cose the MCU and PPM taking in edition that must contains the same model body.
Example: Nokia 3310 NHM5 NHM5NX5.110 --- MCU / NHM5NX5.11C --- PPM
* The language content inside of each PPM is screened at the right menu
* Make click on OK, the process spend 110 seconds

9- Resetting security codes in DCT4
* Like DCT3 models, we can reset the security codes in DCT4
* The DCT4 models are: Nokia 6310, Nokia 8310, Nokia 5510, Nokia 9210, Nokia 7650

I has been try to download the prog by almoust site but to much prog doesn't work and righ now the phone is dead before dead i can see CONTAC SERVICE in the phone.

why not you use rolis flasher V4.78 ? it is use dejan 1.0b interface only !
