Write new imei in nokia 2100 - GSM-Forum

Hi alls,
I need to write a new imei in a Nokia 2100, I have a twister box. Somebody can tell me how I can do step by step to change imei in it phone, please

You can't change imei on 2100 without hardware changing!!!You must first change the flash ic.

The way is: flash ic from 8250,then flash the phone with full flash for 2100 and then change to any imei, update FAID and all be OK !!!

Thanks a lot again. I'm very new in this. What do you mean with FLASH IC FROM 8250? How can I do that? Remember that I have a twister box.

Hi Danidelta,

What Bohosh is trying to say is that you must desolder your old flash chip and replace it with one that is of a Nokia 8250 suitability as it is re writable . In Order for you to achieve this you must possess some soldering skill.

Changing an imei on a Nokia 2100 is not as easy as DCT3 ... as this product is based on DCT4 technology.
