I have already searched!

Hi, I have already searched the forum and did n't get any correct answer. I have also checked the schematics and found that the centre pad of the key goes directly to the UPP OR UEM. So I applied heat on UPP applying and the Key 7 became functional. I did it in night but in the morning I found that the key is again not working. I noted that when I switch on the phone by pressing and holding the power on key for a long period(I keep holding the pwr on key) the digit 7 appears before "Insert sim card" is displayed. More over sometimes 7 appears when i press 4 or * key. In the next night applied flex on UPP and UEM and applied hot air. Now for the last 18 hrs the set was OK and I returned the set to the customer feeling that the set is OK. Let us hope the the best.

Thank you for your reply!
