2600 blinking after loading pm - GSM-Forum

i have nokia 2600 that was having keypad hanging problem, if i loose the screw a litle, d keys will work and their will be no network but if i tight the screw their will be net but keys will not respond. d version of d phone is v4.42but i flash it with v3.28 d problem persist then i read the pm absolute of a good 2600 with v4.42 and write into d phone and d phone started blinking.i tried to write back d original pm backup but process failed. i am using twister, i tried to erase and write memory but d system told me that the phone will die if i erase mem pls help

Why u flash the Phone ?

no need if screw problems...
that was hardware problem..

oki.. now erase all flash ,and flash again .. check ur pm its fine ?,if not then download again from supporting site ..and after pm on the phone ..after reset all ............but first of all must loose phone screw,,,may be some one button pushed thats why ur phone not powering on and blinking

when i made attempt to erase, my twister flasher warned me not to do that, adding that pm and every thing will be erased and d phone will die. i dont know d region that i can erase or not.pls help with flashing tutorial and how to load network file in 2300&1100.

Men, Just do this: Erase the flash, flash MCU+PPM and then upload the PM file in the phone. Here is good ane, wich I used to solve the network prob in 1100, so this is good PM http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...63#post1380763
Just delete .txt to end of the file, t.e. rename it to .pm

Hi Mates,
Always Remember That After Earase And Full Flash And Before Pm Writing U Must Unlock The Fone And Then Write Pm To Phone Thats A Trick Which Able To Get The Mobile In Working Position ......................ok Plz Check It Tested By Me.......ok

Hi,

After full flash, write PM and do UI setting again. Maybe that will help. I always full flash do UI setting write PM and then UI setting again.
