2600b to 2600 HOWTO CONVERT???? - GSM-Forum

HI

can some1 plz help me with the conversion from 2600b to 2600.

the board looks identical to the 2300 and 1100. is it possibly the same as these models.

u have to change this crystal shown in picture after u have to flash it with 2600(rh59) flash files.

i bought hundred of new nokia 2600b (RH-60), I only flash with mcu,ppm,cnt firmware 2600 (Rh-59) and write pm 3200 (Rh-30). and the phone is ok. no need to change or jumper the filter on the board like the picture above.

i wrote the 3200 pm but then my phone started blinking on and off, can you tell us how u managed to do this ? or do u write a special pm into the 2600 ?

i solved this : flash with mcu,ppm,cnt firmware 2600 (Rh-59) and write pm 3200 (Rh-30) only but not work. I change this 3 crystal and it work fine!!!

u need
1) change filters
2) flash phone with RH-59
3) write PM

anyone who says u can skip any of these and make this phone 100% workable, does not know even then ABC of proper conversion..

and 3200 and 2600 are damn different phones.. i wonder how u can use 3200 pm on 2600 !!

BTW even if it works with 3200 still why use 3200 ?? why not 2600 which is more logical choice !! isnt it ?
