3100 lcd compatible with 6610? - GSM-Forum

hi!

does anyone know what's the difference between 3100 lcd and 6100/6610/7210/7250 - they seem fully compatible but they aren't. is it possible to make an 3100 lcd work on a 6610 phone?

I think they are compatibile. There are two kind of lcd; yellow tape and green tape. try to use the same colour.

for green flexcable, they are 100% compatible.

I think not important is green or yellow cable, all of them are compatible for S40 series!!!!

actually i've found some 6610 which worked well with the 3100 lcd, later on - so i'm 100% sure now tt they r compatible.

i think it might be somethng wt the flash version, if it's older it doesn't work
(powers on but remains blank)

that 1 is phone version problem try to flash it to low version is u get black lcd
