6100 unlock - GSM-Forum

I am trying to unlock a 6100 usingSmart DCT4 v1.1.7 Std ED.
I have tried the recommended code twice, and code 1 twice and both times I get " Code Error" reported on the6100.
How many more times am I allowed to enter a code before I get locked out?
What happens if I exceed this number of times?

you have 5 tres if u exceed this number u can only use direct unlock
