6230 and 512MB mmc problem - GSM-Forum

Hi, i'm a new user of this forum, i'm italian and i don't speak english very well, but i'm tring to do it. I have a question for you: I have brought a new 512MB mmc for my Nokia 6230 3.17, but it doesn't read this mmc (i can't see any memory card in gallery), is the only way to resolve the situation to upgrade the firmware to version 5.26???????
