Member: 115892 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 6510 Insert SIM Card / Contact Service I have a Nokia 6510. A few days ago it hit the ground a little too hard and now when I turn it on it says "Insert SIM Card", and some times "Contact Service". Do you think it can be saved? I opened it and I saw it has three different boards inside, the one with the screen, another one, PCB-style, and the last one that has the battery slot. I was thinking of placing one of these boards (the one that has the flash on it - but I don't know which one is it) into another 6510 to access my address book. Will that work? Member: 17337 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | about insert sim cart check the main board besid the sim place you will fine a small cristal ic i think you will find it broken or not there try to replce this one i think the phone will open so you can save your phone book after that try to reflash the phone if you didn't got luck try to reheat the UEM |
