8310 5.80 can't change sec.code or restore factory settings - GSM-Forum

Hi everybody!
After unlocking 4 pieces without problems, yesterday I repeat the process: downgrade (6510 4.12) with cheap flasher, unlock (cheap flasher, not jic), upgrade, but this time I found I can't restore factory settings because then phone became dead until next flashing. Why this time I didn't got it? Is there any solution I only need for serial unlock cable & cheap flasher?

flahs again your phone, the end of flashing display "testmode", dont remove cable from your phon but pres unlock/reset

I tried that, but phone was in local mode, then withouth removing battery, I pressed unlock/repair and phone got into test mode and unlocked. After that, I can restore factory settings, but can't use security code, change it or activate it, because if I try and remove battery after power off, then phone won't power on until next reflash.

maybe secuirty protocols have been updated in 5.80!

Maybe. Should then I flash phone with older version? I've tried but prob not solved. Thx
