So i want to try changing PA. can someone tell me if this would be PA or something else and ifso is the PA the same as in an any other Nokia and under what shield is it located in the 8800? Thx |

| Before to try PA changing take a look over phone consumption on 2 simple wires instead battery... also u can make a WaveTek ( or GSM tester what u have ) look for network parameters and recalibrate ( field 0 in PM ) ... This problem ( shut down when sending ) is mostly known on 8801 -> 8800 remaded when someone do not use right Rx and Tx filters and PM ... WBR, DebeliaMark, BG |

| Opss - forgot to say - on your question - PA is same like in 3220, 3230, 5140, 6020, 6021, 6170,7270, 6260, 6670,7610, 7260, 7270, 7710 - mostly 4355641, but can be AGLIENT, Hitachi or RFMD and depend on this must be checked ( and corrected ) R700 to be right detected ... you can see it under cover placed just by to the backup battery. |
