After Flashinh 6610 shows 7210 - GSM-Forum

I flash my 6610 with Griffin ,after flashing when i connect my phone with
oxygen manager it shows 7210 .how can i change it back to 6610.

It`s a normal! 6610 and 7210 is wery similar. Only case diferetts. So don`t wory. All will work Ok and corect

Just flash it back with correct flash file,don´t use autodetect,select it manually.

How can i do that ,because for 6610 and 7210 there is only one file thats nhl4

nhl-4 is 7210 and nhl-4u is 6610.
So you have ti install both flash packages.

i am asking a silly question here but hope someone will clear my concept. i want to know what does this Flash or flashing means. how and for what porpose we use it? i have 6610 and if it is something intresting definetly i will use it. but i need to know what this flashig is?

Flashing means sw update,we are doing this because of bugs(sometimes) or if you want to change language of your phone,etc.
Flashing can be done with some cables or special "boxes" like Griffin,Twister,Martech,SEFighter.... or with original sevice equipment,depending on wich phone you want to repair(change language).

Simple solution,just use Griffin box,go to serial->Phone menüs->DCT4 phone menüs activation,select NHL-4U dir select euro_u.pp file,and voila
