Cheap Flasher Users, Read this!!!

Hello Guys,

To everyone who are using "Cheap Flashers", here are gifts that
will be very usefull for all of you.

Tired of getting too much errors?

Download WinDCT4 2.0 Official Public Release 1.0
http://www.gsmtweaking.com/zip/windct4lite.exe

This release contains all the necessary FIA files and instructions
plus bonus programs. This release does not contain any flash
files. Please read the instructions included in the release...

Tired of hearing people say that your flasher will damage
7210, 6610 and 6100??? We'll, here's your chance to proove
them wrong

Download Modified Flash Files (modified by me of course )

http://www.gsmtweaking.com/zip/7210-418.exe
http://www.gsmtweaking.com/zip/6610-418.exe
http://www.gsmtweaking.com/zip/6100-401.exe

These modified flash files WILL NOT ERASE JAVA/GAMES/FOLDERS
etc.... However, if your phone already has no java/games/folfers
then you cannot fix it using these flash file. These flash files are
only for those phones that still have JAVA/GAMES/FOLDERS...

Limitations of WinDCT4 2.0...

1. WinDCT4 2.0 can only flash DCT4 phones... it cannot flash
7650 or 3650 as of this moment... 7650 uses WD2 Algorithm.
7650 is not DCT5,,, whoever says that 7650 is DCT5 needs to
see a doctor or get a hammer and hit it to his head As of this
moment, there is no such thing as a DCT5 phone.

2. WinDCT4 2.0 cannot unlock new versions of 8310 and 6310i,
so you must downgrade them first before unlocking them.

3. WinDCT4 2.0 can Flash without erasing INTERNAL PHONEBOOK
of the phone, however you need SPECIAL flash files for this...
I will upload special flash files only if I think that the demand is
really high...

Special Trivia: Did you know that you don't need to connect VPP
from the dongle to the phone? The UPP supplies enough voltage
to the VPP of the flash during flashing therefore you don't need
to use the VPP line from the dongle at all.

Best Regards,
X-Shadow

Hello Guys,

It's good to hear positive responces...

So in return, I will share another trick

Question: How to SAFELY unlock 6310i-5.22 ???

The truth is, downgrading to version 4.80 is working... but
after upgrading it back to version 5.22 you will loose bluetooth

For people who already lost Bluetooth on their 6310i 5.22, I
cannot help you anymore. Better find someone who owns a
griffin/fls-4/neelix/afd and have them fix it for you...

For those people who still have bluetooth on verison 5.22 and
want to unlock their phones, follow the steps below carefully:

1. You need the following modified files:

Modified MCU for 6310i version 4.80
http://www.gsmtweaking.com/zip/6310i-480s.exe

Modified MCU for 6310i version 5.22
http://www.gsmtweaking.com/zip/6310i-522s.exe

* You dont need modified PPM files, so use original PPM files...

2. Downgrade your phone to version 4.80 using modified MCU

3. Press unlock button when the phone is at "LOCAL MODE"
after flashing the PPM part...

* If unlock is successful, then procede to step 4...

4. Upgrade your phone to version 5.22 using modified MCU

* All should be ok and phone should be unlocked...

Explanation of Modified Flash Files:

These modified Flash files DO NOT CONTAIN BLUETOOTH Update,
meaning these files do not update/modify/erase the current
BLUETOOTH code inside your phone. However, if your phone
already has damaged BLUETOOTH code, then you cannot fix it
using these files.

To make it more simple, here is what happens...

You have a phone which has version 5.22 for the MCU/PPM and
Bluetooth code for version 5.22. If you downgrade it using
modified MCU flash file for version 4.80, then you will have a
phone with version 4.80 on the MCU/PPM but still with
Bluetooth code for version 5.22 because modified flash files do
not touch the BLUETOOTH CODE. After unlocking it, you upgrade
it again to version 5.22 using modified flash file for 5.22. In the
end you will have version 5.22 on the MCU and PPM and also
Bluetooth Code for version 5.22... SO you will have no problem
right?

I am aware that a lot of people here have problems after
downgrading and I can explain them too... it is because they did
not use modified flash file for version 4.80 when they downgraded
the phone. If you use original flash files for version 4.80, you
will update the Bluetooth Code to versuion 4.80 too... So when
you try to upgrade it back to version 5.22 using Modified Flash
files, you will then have a phone with version 5.22 on the MCU
and PPM, but Bluetooth code for version 4.80!!! Therefore
bluetooth menu is damaged

I hope this clears up a lot of things...

Best Regards,
X-Shadow
