How do I bypass the 4 digit pin code ?

I left my nokia 6310i on my desk, last week and someone as a joke (I guess) has put in a pin code (it previously only had a pin code of 0000). Now the person won't own up to it. So I cannot get into my phone. Is there anyway of finding out / by passing the 4 digit pin code ?

thanks

no, you can try to put 3x the wrong code.
After that you can reset it by using your PUK code (in my country supplied with simcard)

Ok...found out what a PUK code is. Unfortuantely I don't know mine. Is it possible to use a software and a cable to connect the phone to my PC and "read" the pin code from the phone? If so can anyone recommend the cable and software I need.

thanks

You can buy a GSM Test sim, it'll bypass the unlock code.
But you can only view what ever is saved to your PHONE MEMORY and messages etc etc.
I have some used GSM TEST SIMS
Contact:
