If nokia flashes my phone will it be unlocked? - GSM-Forum

i have a 6820 that i tried to unlock. After my 5 tires I attempted to get it unlocked thru cable but I cannont find anyone in the states who can do this. i then called nokia to see if they could unlock it and they said no but they would flash the phone to reset the 5 tries. My question is (and i am new at this) If they flash the phone wouldnt it reset to prepropriatary sim lock? Nokia claims that at&t are the ones who lock it so flashing the phone resets the entire phone to nokias state does it not?

find someone with prodigy box or superclip griffin box thiese will unlock your 6820
if nokia reflash your fone they will use original nokia files which will relock fone to original sim lock
