Sorry if i misled you, but i havent reflashed my phone, i dont own the
hardware to do so, i have mereley used commercially available software called
logomanager to activate csp override, which can be reversed just by clicking
a button. and i have already the most current software version for my phone
as it is new. i would never try to reflash the software while still in
warranty period.
The startup tone that i asked about, isnt network dependant and it seems not
a sw fault either. the call divert menu seperate options do work with my
network, i have used the seperate options before, and now continue to do so.
I think possibly my network has used sim profile menu removal to save tech
support calls by only giving one option, but i needed the choice to divert
calls to different numbers if busy, and if out of reach.

I have since found that resetting my startup logo to the nokia (very nicely
animated) hands logo has given me the tone and menu i was missing.

Thankyou for your time and help,

Darryl Leaning
