my 6230 - contact service !!! plz help - GSM-Forum

I have one new nokia 6230.This phone,when i purchase had firmware 3.17 then i flash ver. 4.43,phone ok.I use phone 1 mounth without problem,but yesterday i try flash with 4.44 but after flash don't work BT ,then i try downgrade to 4.43 and now after flash once power on then CONTACT SERVICE....

please help me !!!

its mean u upgradded your phone from firmware 3.17 to ver. 4.43,phone ok.
then u try downgrade from 4.44 to 4.43 now CONTACT SERVICE

the solution is just flash your phone lang only or put phone in local mode and unlock it

i also faced the same problem when you downgade the phone u have to unlock it also if u switch it on without unlocking it will go on CONTECT SERVICE
so when ever u downgrade any phone unlock the phone also

yes i am 100000000000000% sure coz i do it daily from
4.28 to 3.14 life timer zero
4.44 to 3.14 life timer zero

ur file may be corrupt. look for another copy of file .

Hi cooleyes...many,many,many thanx..good job man,my phone is now OK again..
I'm flash phone with 3.17 reset life timer to zero,reset full factory,then write full 6230 PMM and then unlock..all O.K,and I flash phone with good phoenix 4.44 and now my phone 100000000000% work..

ps: I have still one question,where i download new firmware 5.24 , thanx all..

hi friends i have 6230 which is showing Contact Service with twister but when reboot the fone in normal mode it is showing insert sim card i downgrade the fone from 4.44 - 4.24 but the problem is same . Can any one suggest me another idea which they have tested
