Need Serious Help With Nokia 6230 - GSM-Forum

Hi there, I have a nokia 6230 which has a few problems. At times, out from nowhere when i press to unlock the phone or search through my phonebook it automaticly restarts/makes my phone screen go blank for 1-5 secs and then goes back to normal. Also at times in standy-by mode it will just say insert simcard on the screen. I then have to turn off my phone and turn it back on. Could anyone point out the problem and is there anyways to fix it as I purchase off ebay so there is no warranty but phone was brand new and sealed. Thanks in advance ppl.

what's version of rimware you have??? can you see with *#0000#

Hi there, I have the latest version 4.44 or 4.43 my das currently got the phoen so unable to verfiy the exact one. It is a Australian model. Thanks

Hello.......

my 6230 phone sometimes goes blank if i browse through the video clips...
today it went blank as i unlocked it.......

it returns to normal if i press the power button on the top..........

can anybody rectify this ?????????? or do i send it to nokia ??????????

hi can any one help me please,im going nuts !!!! i have an unlocked 6230 which was on o2.i now have vodaphone sim in and cannot alter the mms settings.the phone wont allow me to do it manually and cannot get the settings to the phone from voda customer care via mms as they flash up but cant be saved.all the saved spaces for settings are full and phone will not let me delete any.tried master reset and nowt.getting annoyed and hammer is going through phone if i cant sort soon.cheers guys

hi make for your phone soft were at frist if ont work well i think you have a problem on um ic in the phone
