Newbie questions on the 6101 - GSM-Forum

So I'm familiar with computers and that kind of technology, but my new cell phone (which turns out to be a Nokia 6101) vexes me. Specifically, 1. How do I remove the T-mobile startup logo and sound (and the shutdown logo/sound) 2. Where can I find a list of codes like *#0000# (or is that the only one?) 3. What does the 128 cnt pm do for me? How do I know if I need it (or want it)?

the only way to remove the t mobile start up logo and ringtones is to load new software and content package.the list of "secret codes" can be found in this forum by using search button.you will basically only need pm files for dct 4 phones like yours if the phone doesn't get any signal or shows CONTACT SERVICE.
