Arrow Nokia 3510i Unlock Help Needed Using Calculator, Dont Have Smart Clips And Flashers,

I am not sure with 3510i i was trying to unlock one for my friend today i used the ultimate calcultor, crux, and dct4 by myke but no matter which one i tried phone kept bringing up message saying unable to unrestric phone something like that, yet has it changed were you used to put another simcard in and it said sim not valid, or sim rejected does it not do that anymore, what makes it more tricky is its locked to virgin

and when i put an 02 simcard in it takes it but says simcard registration failed and when i put it in my 02 3510i it works?

so the phone isnt barred

Another question does DCT-4 Cover the 3230 i think its called

sounds like the phone is unlocked but blocked/barred. When i put wrong sim in locked barred phone I get sim rejected but when its unlocked and barred orange and o2 give registration failed, vodafone give good signal and looks like its accepted but you cannot connect call. so it sounds blocked.

sometimes when phone has been unlocked already putting codes in can give that message. Did you put both code +1 and +7 in as ive also had problems with some phones needing both these codes before fully unlocked.
If it was bought from virgin as pay as you go (or contract) and still works on virgin then yes you must be right that the phone is not barred. registration failed could also be signal so i feel not fully unlocked.

thats exactly it spot on its a pay as you go virgin and i entered all the codes from 3 different programmes from +1 - +7 and it still said unable to unlock, i dont see how it could be barred as the boy who owns it still has the box charger and manual with same iemi number on the box as when you type *#06# i think the reason why i cant unlock it is because virgin and t-mobile always seem to have same provider code and their seems to be no difference with the provider codes

there is a difference with some virgin 3510i provider codes some had provider code of 23400000 where t mobile is 23430000 I'm not sure if virgin special code which is 23400001 is for 3510i but just goes to show virgin codes not necessarily the same as tmobile.
I got these codes from crux calc v3.10
