Nokia 6230 strange problem!? Help... - GSM-Forum

Hi to all!

Have this NOKIA 6230, it's unlocked, but it has problem only with one SIM card.
The phone is working normally on all Slovenian SIM cards but when I put SIM card from Croatian operator, I can recieve calls and SMS, but can't make any calls. When I try to make a call, an message shows on a screen: CALL NOT ALLOWED.
What's wrong, does anyone have any suggestion, solution?

Your SIM is Blocked by uor cellur operator, did u use this SIM in another mobile, if u use and get some "call not allowed" then 100% SIM prob not Handset prob. contact uor service provider.

Hi Kimran!

I put this "non working" croatian SIM card to my NOKIA 6310i and it's working normally. I can make and recieve calls, I can do anything.

Strange?!? :-))
Must admit, never happend this before.

Any other suggestion?

Ok this Error come when the FDN MODE IS ENABLED, check FDN MODE IN 6230, and if it is enabled then u must disabled, if not woring then u must Full flash the phone,

Not FND it is FDN MODE, Go to setting > Security menu and disabled FIXED DIALING, This will slove uor prob.

Hej, Yesterday I just upgrade software on 6230 and problem was gone.

Nice, Actually the FDN mode was enabled thats why the problem was araisingn, No prob, thats gr8 that problem solved,
