Nokia 6610i Won't accept p+w letters
 

Hi

I have a brand new Nokia 6610i locked to O2 in the UK. I have generated the unlock codes, but when I try to enter them, it won't accept the letters p or w and will only repeat the numbers 7 and 9 no matter how quickly I key them in.

I have successfully unlocked Nokias and a Siemens phone in the past and haven't come across this problem before.

I'd be grateful for any help or advice.

Apologies for posting the above. I have finally realised I should have been using the * key and not the numbers and have successfully unlocked it after struggling for days. :rolleyes:
