You contact ur network provider (ATT) and ask these:
1. MMS Server Address
2. Proxy IP
3. Proxy Port
4. APN
If u get this still can't configure manually PM me if I can help you.

Do your provider need any sms for activation of GPRS? Or automatically it is activated with subscription?

You mixed all. I don't need what the settings already have in your phone. I need the setting of the company which sim u r using. Understand?
For example in our country Bangladesh,
MMS settings for GrameenPhone (service provider) is

MMS Centre: http://mms.gusurf.net/servlets/mms

Proxy IP: 10.128.1.2

Proxy Port: 8080

Apn: gpmms

I need this kind of information. . .

You can use Packed Data setting for GPRS.
GPRS = General Packet Radio Service
