Is it safe to unlock DCT-4? - GSM-Forum

Is it possible that i end up with a phone that don't work after playing with unlocking programs? (Contact Service" or something like that).

Or is the worse thing that can happen, that the phone don't get unlocked?

BTW; Is it possible to unlock a 3510 with the same program that unlocks 6510/8310/6310?

For as long as you have the datacables available for your playtime as well as softs for unlocking, then i say its safe...

Think first before you punch!

Ok. I need to be 100% sure before i buy the cables.

Because if the software is messed up and phone only displays "Contact service" there is no way to fix it because i don't have DCT-4 flashing stuff.

hello,

To be onest is not 100% sure, not eaven flashing is not 100% sure.

Some time you can get Contact service or death phones because of bad communication, phone can have some fault's on MBUS or RX/TX line...

And of course SP unlocking will not work on new sw version 8310 5.57 and futher versions...for all models.
