unlock RH-87 2610b v5.65 - GSM-Forum

I tried unlocking 2 of theese phones found the correct rh-86_87 mcu file nut fails at the end and my phones both wont turn on now I have one more good phone any one know how to unlock software version 5.65 from T-Mobile USA?

You need to convert it to Nokia 2610, downgrade to version 3.08 , first full erase and full flash, write good PM, and then replace the filter,

Thank you for your help i have a few questions.
1. I tried downloading from raskal servers but the lowest version is 3.77 and higher then that is 4.5?
2. How do I full erase and do i erase the pm also?
3. What is a "GOOD" pm and how do i get it?
4. What is a filter and how is it replaced?
Thanks to all that help me I am not new but there is sooooooo much to learn!

we want this to work with 850/1900 not 900/1800, the question was not how to convert to european asian band but to unlock this new 2610b tmobile usa version, I also got one and it wont turn on now, nokia changed something in there dct4+ versions soon other models will follow, need solution to unlock these new models.
mtbox 1.37 gives with version rh87 5.65:

Failed to Read
Failed to locate PATCH target!

but v3.75 it finds target and unlock ok but wont turn on, its not turning on after flashing back to 5.65 need good 2610b v5.65 pm and write back, please upload, tnx

read out pm from a good v5.65 and write back in phone but still phone not turn on and contact sevice only.

this version cannot be unlocked yet accept codes which are very mch expensive and it is the phone with new security so dont try it by flashing or unlocking otherwise you will loose your phone and it wont work until the solution comes so just wait except trying to unlock.

buy new rh87 up to v4.90 from cingular or rogers (about 40 usd), unlock and give to customer, charge him for unlocking, wait for solution until developed and fix contact service then sell it, thats how you can cut your loss.

Maybe you change a main 2610 for it ...
