Member: 35219 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | What flasher should I use a 8310 with. I have windct4 and nokia dct4 flasher. I can't get anything out of them except "prevlidged Instruction" message and termination running on XP even though userport is installed. Running them on Windows 98 produces "Box not found" message followed by termination. I''m assuming that these 2 bits of software require a specific dongle (please correct me if I'm wrong). Can someone tell me if there is a flasher out there that I could use to upgrade the software and if it's complicated point me in the right direction as to usage and operating system to use. Is there any special configuring to apply to Userport or are the default settings supposed to be ok? Last but not least, I haven't noticed with the flashers I've seen an optiion to read the phone and save a backup flash file for restoring - just in case. Help! |

Member: 35219 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Can nobody help me? All I want is a DCT4 flasher that works with a cheap flasher lead. All those I have downloaded and triedjust say that they can't detect a dongle or tell me to connect it when the lead is connected. If anyone can tell me what software might work successfully and also where I might download it, I would be very appreciative |
