New board revisions don't have this resistor.

I think it is the UEM. If you check voltage in and voltage out of the UEM it seems to be lost in there. Phone is too cheap to bother with UEM change. Too much labour to remove glued BGA and a UEM (working one) is too expensive.

Curious to see sto changed UEM and no difference.

Makes me think again ?????????

open the phone Connect the charger socket to board, check voltage on fuse (K) both side must have charger voltage (8V) then self both side ,and one side of Zener diod.
if OK and the resistor near data cable is ok,and there is no voltage on both side of R 0.22 (big resistor that is ame as 3310) then UEM is faulty

90% of NOT CHARGING problem in nokia 1100 and 2300 and 2600 phone Due to UEM,

if the battery conatcts voltage out = 3.6 then try write pmm file, if not ---> UEm,

if u see the battery indicator ONLY on screen the goes off, then check lines from UEM to battery contacts (change any damaged capasitor or resistor)

Dear friends,

Start with measurements 1) Check both the charger pads on PCB for shorting. 2) Check resistance of +ve pad of charger on PCB for @ 2.5 to 4 Kohms. If this resistance is OK then no need to doubt for UEM. 3) Check charging resistor continuety with battery positive.

In case charging symbol appears for a while replace resistor as shown by Mr.Viks & Mr. SevgiGSM.

Regards.....
