1100 problem


Hello Friends,

I have some 1100 (RM-4) which have similler problem of getting hot near earpiece. Handsets are nomral. Network ok, charging OK etc... But when we recieve call or give a call then after 30-40 sec talk it start to get hot.. If we talk 5 min it becomes more hot...

Any one go through this problem ?

Please give your advices.

hi man
i would ADVISE u to

change pa N --->TEST result

alternate , REMOVE SCREWS of phone,n then keep in hands, dial, for ur 30.40sec on call
IMMEDIALTY open n check WHATS hot

change,should solve problem

Most of the times due 2 substandard batteries this happens.Try changing ur batteries.If they r OK,replace PA that would do it.

rm-4 is nmp2300, if problem about audio try to flash with rh-18(IF NOT WORKING CHANGE THE CPU IC), if problem hot temperature change PA ic. tested!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
