1208 blue display

hello every one, i have some great info about blue display prob in nokia 1208, first if the lcd is damaged, it can give the phone contact service so when you power on and it only shows blue lcd and can not power off, no incoming and outgoing calls. i got one of a kind this morning and i first replaced with new lcd of 1208 and phone was powering up, outgoing and incoming calls ok but still blue display. finally i replaced with lcd from nokia 1600 and phone was displaying ok and all calls ok. no flashing needed. one way you can find out if display prob is coz of flex is by connecting lcd directly to the phone with out the flex. hope this will be usefull to all forum users. g00d luck.

Problem like this I was always replace with 1600 LCD. Always success. No need to try with 1208 LCD.

There are usually many different approaches to various problems. So the real cause of the fault will determine the kind of solution to be applied.
