1600 Lights not pwering OFF. - GSM-Forum

Hello, I got Nokia 1600 with Lights Fault. it was its Crystal ic problem. I replace the ic but after replacing the ic, now phone's lights never get OFF after 10 sec. i relace the IC again and again but still have problem.

when i switch power OFF then its lights become off otherwise its lights not powring OFF.

wat the problem in the Phone?

check in setting it may be always on if yes than set it to normal

Yes, this is working solution for always light on. i have tested many sets.

in 1600 and similar models light IC triggered by UEM through a small transistor near the light IC, transistor act as a switch which gives a small voltage to the LIGHT IC to enable and disable the Light. if the Transistor damaged resulting no light or light turns on always. so try to check the transistor first.
